Online Guitar Lessons Update

Online Guitar Lessons Are The Future!
Better than face to face guitar lessons?
When asked if they would prefer to stick with online guitar lessons or return to face-to-face guitar lessons, most of my students have requested to stay online. There are so many advantages to online guitar lessons including:
- Detailed and professional-looking guitar lesson notes are sent via email.
- Graphical tools are used in the lesson to easily show the fingering for any musical idea.
- I can be sure that students understand any notation or diagrams in the lesson.
- I have an ever-growing extensive library of teaching tools at my fingertips, which I can access immediately.
- Audio examples can easily be recorded and sent to students.
- Students are able to use their own gear in the comfort of their own homes.
- Getting stuck in traffic will never be a problem.
Being forced to teach guitar online has given me the opportunity to reassess my entire teaching process. When teaching in schools, I now use many of my new online teaching tools in the classroom as they provide great benefits to my students.

What If There Is A Problem?
The only downside to online guitar lessons from my point of view is that occasional problems with technology are to be expected. WiFi problems or problems with devices being used by a student do happen and can disrupt a guitar lesson. If this does happen, I will rearrange the lesson to a different time. Time of day can even have an impact if many people in a household are using the internet at certain times. Internet problems are actually very rare and I have been extremely surprised with how smoothly online guitar lessons have been running.
Predicting The Future Of Online Guitar Lessons
I have been very fortunate in that the Summer before the covid pandemic struck, I decided to bury a cable in my garden to hardwire my studio to the internet, specifically for teaching guitar online. Little did I know what was on the horizon, but that was one of the best business decisions I have ever made!
Don't Just Take My Word For It...

Timely, patient and talented. Would definitely recommend contacting Paul if you are looking to learn to play the guitar!
I've been seeing him for online lessons via zoom and this format is great. He gives real time construction of charts, scales, chords and arpeggios in the lesson whilst we work through content with our guitars which as amazing because it enables me to see what i'm learning both visually and through physical action on the guitar as well.
The way he does it means I can learn way faster!
Overall great teacher and awesome teaching methodology.
The booking process was easy and he was quick to respond to emails. He offered to play/learn any songs that were special to us and also had his own repertoire. There was the option to have him for the evening too and/or without another singer.
Should I need any more live music, I would book him again.
I cannot recommend him highly enough!
