Happy New Year!

It was great to have a break between Christmas and New Year's Eve, although the lead-up to Christmas was busier than ever.

Gigs included the Joe Ringer Christmas Spectacular at Norwich Playhouse and the Pavilion Theatre, duo gigs on my acoustic guitar with Claire Barker, other Christmas themed gigs in various venues and another fantastic set of gigs at the Mercure Hotel with the Claire Barker Band.

We all had a great time playing all the Christmas parties and on New Year's Eve at the Mercure Hotel. The dance floor was full every night and everyone was certainly in a festive mood.

If you missed the fun at the Mercure Hotel this year, the great news is that we will be back there again next December to make more memorable Christmas parties.

Music is a huge part of any wedding day and can really make the day extra special. In planning a wedding, the evening is usually the main consideration when it comes to music, but there are so many other options:

• Walking down the aisle - the guitar is a great alternative to an organ
• The signing of the register
• Exit music
• Drinks reception
• During photos - whilst individual guests are taken away for photos, music can entertain other guests
• Background music during the Wedding Breakfast
• A band in the evening to dance the night away!
